Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

This is a very positive thing that can happen to Israeli sports and Isreali culture for that matter. Israel has the potential to throw its interest and sports identity toward a sport with increasing worldwide appeal. A sport with likely more acceptance of Israel as a participant as compared to Soccer.

Dan Duquette is world class--- -- and was some believe quietly responsible for the Sox' breaking the curse and becoming champions last year. After all it was in large part his hiring decisions earlier which raised the calibre of Red Sox play. It was the seeds which were sowed so to speak by him, which grew the type of team capable. Having him administer a baseball academy in Israel is sure to put Israel very quickly on the international map in a proud manner.

There are also so many Jewish American Professional Ballplayers who are eligible to play for Israel in the World Basic Classic, should Israel be a participant.

It is all very very exciting.

Minor league baseball in the US has a high entertainment focus. Such would be the type of baseball which I read about as being planned. Even if I were not already a huge fan, it is potentially an activity with , music, food, surrounding entertainment.

Time to be happy.
